"Worship is the
opportunity for busy people to touch the eternal, for sinners to glimpse
the holy, for broken people to be enfolded in God's perfect love. Worship
is moving beyond our self-centered lives to meet
the one who created us for something better."
- Dr. Rob Frost
"
Worship is
a natural response to the realization of who God is and how great He really
is. It is a time when I drop everything else, look up and revere the Lord
God. Recently, I read a book about how Jews would prepare for worship.
Apparently, the Jews so looked forward to the Sabbath that they would
prepare three days in advance by fasting and praying. On the Sabbath
itself, they would bring the family to the synagogue, worship and afterward
spend time with the family. For the 2-3 days after, they made it a point to
reflect on what had been taught on the Sabbath, till it was time again to
prepare for the next Sabbath. Since I read this book, I began to take
preparation for Sunday worship more seriously. On the occasions that I
prepare properly, worship becomes much more fruitful and I really feel that
I'm
in God's presence."
- Jeremy Lim, a worshipper.

We have several worship teams made up of worship
leaders and musicians, who rotate to lead the congregation in worship in
song each Sunday. We also have a dedicated AVA crew who take care of the
audio-visual requirements of each Sunday service and other special
occasions.
