Our
Pastoral Team
The work of the Pastoral Team includes:
Visitation
The pastoral team members are always only a call away, for immediate help
or for prayer. Elders, Deacons and Care-cell Leaders share the work of
visitation. Visitations include: home visitations, hospital visitations,
prayer ministry, counseling ministry and sharing
of the Gospel.

Funerals
The pastoral care of members extends to times of bereavement in the lives
of our members. At such times of loss, members can depend upon the Pastoral
Team to offer counsel and assistance on matters related to wake services
and funeral arrangements. Elders, Deacons and Care-cell Leaders share the
work of giving support and comfort.
Weddings
Couples applying for their marriage to be solemnized in our church must be
Christians, one of whom must be a member of YCK Chapel or YCK Gospel Hall.
Couples will need to apply to the Elders at least 6 months before the date
of marriage. Application Forms are obtainable from the Church Office during
office hours. They will need to attend a Pre-marital Counselling Course to
be arranged by the Pastoral staff.
We encourage couples who intend to have
their marriage officiated at the Registrar of Marriage, or by any other
Marriage Celebrant, to also inform our Elders, 3 months before the date.
